Went to Lowes for a ductless mini split. The equipment runs1k-2K. Consist of hanging an air handle, drilling a hole to thread wiring and connect to panel. No Freon handling- even if conduit had to run to connect to panel …. 0 details on scope of ...work. This was most likely due to lack of complexity. I have called twice to speak with a manager regarding their expensive charges for work done on my moms home and so far no one has called me back. I called on 1/27/2024 and 2/10/2024 and talked to a customer service rep and gave them a message asking for ...a manager to call me and still have not received a call back yet. The fact that I’m taking the time to leave a negative review speaks to the annoyance and disgust of my interaction. Don’t tell people there’s a $79 fee to come out and give a quote (which you’ll waive if services are provided) and then show up ...and provide a quote for $500 for 1 hour of work. When called out for it the tech as well as the office staff basically respond with “sorry that’s the price, if you don’t want to do it you can pay the $79. That’s called bait & switch my friends. You wouldn’t be getting this review if you had some general awareness and didn’t send me numerous automated requests to leave a positive review for my experience.
